This is a personal blog. It doesn't run ads and doesn't sell data. As of this writing it doesn't use tracking cookies or analytics — if that changes, this page will be updated first.

What data is collected
Hosting and content delivery infrastructure (currently Netlify, with Cloudflare in front of it) may log standard technical data for security and reliability purposes — things like IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — as a normal part of serving any website. This site does not separately collect, store, or process that data itself.
If you email the address above, that email (and whatever you choose to include in it) is processed only to respond to you.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to get new posts by email, the data collected is your first name and email address. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the signup form. By default that data is used only to send you new posts from this blog — nothing else.
The signup form has a separate, optional checkbox for marketing emails — direct marketing by electronic means about other things I make, future products, and offers, not just new posts. That checkbox is unticked by default; ticking it is a second, distinct consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, together with Art. 10 of the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means and Art. 172 of the Telecommunications Law, which separately govern sending commercial information electronically and using a telecommunication end device for that purpose), recorded separately from, and not required for, the plain new-post newsletter. You can withdraw either consent at any time by writing to the contact address above.
The signup form is currently handled by Formspree, a third-party form processor, as a temporary setup — this will be noted here if it changes to a dedicated mailing list provider. You can unsubscribe, or ask for your data to be deleted, at any time by writing to the contact address above.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time, under the GDPR. To exercise any of these, write to the contact email above — expect a response within 30 days.
You can also file a complaint about unlawful processing with Poland's data protection authority: Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes — for example, if a comment system, analytics, or a proper mailing list provider is added later. The "last updated" date above will reflect the latest version.
